Scholarship awarded to Schmersal trainees

Oliver Strauch (left) and Jonas Pieper, both apprentices at Schmersal and at the same time students of electrical engineering, have reason to be happy: They received a scholarship for the academic year 2022 / 2023. The certificates were handed over to them last Wednesday at the Campus Velbert Heiligenhaus. The scholarship is financed half by the Federal Republic of Germany and half by a sponsor.

The Germany Scholarship is awarded to students who are expected to achieve outstanding results in their studies and careers. The decisive factor in awarding the scholarships is not only good grades, but also the social and cultural commitment of the applicants - and the two have a lot to show in this regard: Jonas Pieper has been active in the Boy Scouts for over ten years and is an enthusiastic hiker. And Oliver Strauch makes music in his spare time and plays drums in a metal band.

Congratulations - and continued success in your studies and career!
