In 2012, the Schmersal Group acquired Boehnke + Partner GmbH control systems, which is one of the leading suppliers of lift controllers. Schmersal and Boehnke + Partner had already frequently worked together in the past and realised complete control and switchgear for lifts. The integration therefore strengthens the position of the Schmersal Group toward system providers.
